"Slick and Hairy" House

Built in the 1600s this cute little chocolate box of a house retains all the period charms of a family home.  Unfortunately much of the existing structure was in poor condition due to timber infestation and resulted in a 50% rebuild including new thatch roof laid over new roof structure with thick modern insulation.  The modern extension was designed to be a deliberate stark contrast to distinguish two very different eras.
