Oak Cottage

A contemporary new home situated in the Green Belt of Plumley granted planning permission in 2016.  The proposals replaced a tiny workman's cottage to create this beautiful two storey dwelling.  The appearance has a combination of cedar cladding, mono-couche render, slate and black engineering brick.  Full height glazing to the rear encourages expansive views of the attractive new large garden.  The design overcame a number of complex challenges in delivering a sizeable property within a Green Belt setting fraught with policy constraints.
