Burford Lane Farm

A combination of substantially sized Grade 2 Listed buildings located in the Green Belt which have been linked with a seamless contemporary glass walkway.  The buildings, originally constructed in 1866 to the design of well-known Architect John Douglas consist of a 4 storey dwelling and granary building converted to a pool house with adjacent cottages.  The brief for this development was to ensure the subtle reading of the fabric of all the Listed buildings on the farm and to create transparency in the reading of the buildings through and beyond the links themselves.
