His previous involvement in the design of some of Cheshire's high end residential properties was the foundation for James to establish the practice in 2009. Since then, a growing number of challenging commissions usually involving sites and buildings situated within sensitive locations such as Green Belt, Open Countryside and Conservation areas has afforded the practice to develop a reputation for combining both traditional as well as contemporary approaches to design for these areas. Replacement dwellings, conversion and remodelling of historic buildings and complete farm redevelopments form the majority of the projects currently undertaken by the practice today. James is involved with every project to ensure their success.
Natalia Bell. Director
Natalia joined as a director in 2013, bringing valuable support and focus to the practice. Her previous expertise in the field of curtain wall glazing systems for large scale open-plan commercial buildings complements the development of the practice to incorporate inspirational modern, light and open feel spaces in to many of its designs.
