Beechwood

A replacement of an existing and tired Victorian Farmhouse, this new dwelling takes it's cues from the heritage of its predecessor and marrying it with modern 21st Century living.   The key criteria for our client was to retain the design appearance of the historic frontage, orientate the primary accommodation to face the rolling Cheshire plains and to create a traditional but modern new farmhouse that is adaptable for future living arrangements.  The build is of timber panel frame construction and faced in beautiful weathered brick.  Incorporated with an air source heat pump and solar array on the roof, the timber panel frame system combines to make this a tremendously energy efficient, warm and airtight building with lower running costs.  A separate annex connected by an oak framed link at ground floor allows for future generational needs.
