A contemporary barn conversion to a family dwelling under the Class Q Permitted Development rules.  This planning permission is one of many that the practice has been attributed to in recent years.  This development sees a steel portal frame barn with olive green tin cladding re-dressed in to a modern home with larch cladding and brick with a standing seam zinc roof.  A follow-on planning application involved the granting of an additional outbuilding and extension to the domestic curtilage within its Green Belt setting, located outside Knutsford in Cheshire
