The Stables

As part of a wider development plan for Burford Lane Farm, these two cottages, one of which is Grade 2 Listed, were extended in a contemporary rural style to match the construction of 3 new dwellings built adjacent, all of which were commissioned by the same client.  The designs fuse a mixture of charred timber cladding and reclaimed brick with metal zinc roofs.  Internally, the old buildings are opened up with new feature bi-fold doors connecting the garden space to the living areas.  A high quality of interior specification by the client completes this beautiful ensembe.
